High school guard bounces ball off defender's face before going in for layup
No one ever wants to be the victim of a deadly crossover, but having the ball thrown off your face before getting taken to the hole? Not a great day on the court.
Unfortunately for this young basketball player, that's what J.J. Smith and Malik Johnson did to him during a tournament in North Carolina. If it makes the young defender feel any better (and it should) Smith is a four-star recruit in the class of 2017 likely heading to Miami or North Carolina, while Johnson is getting interest from Division I schools across Virginia.
What we're trying to say is, this poor kid had no shot.
At least he didn't get dunked on.
