They are. I tried to watch MSNBC last not cause I wanted to see some good crying on TV. I couldn't stomach it very long.

 

So the NYC mayors race concluded with Democrat Eric Adams apparently pulling off a narrow victory. The media camped out at his alleged NYC residence (one of the issues in the race was, just exactly where is it this guy resides?) to interview him, and got a bit of a surprise when he did arrive.

First, he parked in a no parking zone. In fact, he was blocking the access to a business, and they finally had to call in a tow truck to drag the damn thing out of the way. In fact, the blocked driveway caused a traffic jam right there on Adam's street. Then, Adams popped out of his residence, jumped into his ride (a Prius, of all things), drove down the sidewalk, and sped away.

Now, it's NYC, and there's a reason why many residents don't even bother with owning a car, and apparently blocking business access, driving on the sidewalk, and doing it all with such aplomb is a normal behavior. But, the rest of the country is laughing at the entire silly scene.

A clip of a Hispanic Virginia voter telling Telemundo News that President Joe Biden played a factor in his vote for Republican Glenn Youngkin on his way to defeating Democrat Terry McAuliffe Tuesday night made the rounds on Twitter Thursday.

"I believe that Biden turned me into a Republican," a voter told Telemundo. "Biden is destroying the economy, inflation is through the roof. Everything is terrible."

Media Research Latino's Jorge Bonilla predicted the clip "will become the subject of nightmares" for progressives in future elections. MRC Latino is a Spanish-language conservative watchdog launched by the Media Research Center.

It is...exactly.. as the hack fuck leftists envision, slow economic growth...damn near stagnant if not deteriorated.

 

New Jersey Senate President Steve Sweeney said he won't concede the election to GOP truck driver Edward Durr after 12,000 ballots were "recently found" in a county.

"The results from Tuesday's election continue to come in, for instance there were 12,000 ballots recently found in one county," Sweeney told Politico and the Philadelphia Inquirer late last week. "While I am currently trailing in the race, we want to make sure every vote is counted. Our voters deserve that, and we will wait for the final results."

The election had been called for Durr, who had only spent $2,300 on his campaign, by the Associated Press, which reported that Durr won by four percent, or 2,298 votes. Sweeney has held his seat since 2004 and has been Senate president since 2010.

The New Jersey GOP gubernatorial candidate Jack Ciattarelli has also not conceded his election, as not all votes have been counted yet and he trails by less than a percentage point.

 

Adam Schiff Withers When Pressed on the Steele Dossier, Mumbles Something About an ‘Erection’


I have a feeling Morgan Ortagus isn’t going to be invited back to guest host on The View again.


The former spokesperson for the US State Department appeared today with Adam Schiff and pressed the Democrat congressman on his repeated claims involving the now infamous (and proven false) Steele Dossier.
The John Durham’s investigation is revealing new evidence of how the Hillary Clinton campaign sourced the dossier with false claims through a Russian actor named Igor Danchenko. The latter is now under indictment and the investigation does not appear to be nearing its completion

When Ortagus asked Schiff about his promotion of the dossier and the ridiculous House “investigation” he chaired into supposed Trump-Russia collusion, things did not go well for the Democrat. He withered, having no answer, and course, offering no apology for his damaging behavior.



No, that’s not how any of this works, at least not how any of it should have worked. You do not just start House investigations into wild allegations that have no evidentiary backing. Schiff did so for purely political reasons despite the fact that the Steele Dossier represented a major red flag from the first moment it was leaked. Further, anyone who didn’t see the dossier was disinformation by mid-2017 is either incompetent or kept it going via pure malice. You can probably check the box for both when dealing with Schiff.


Ortega didn’t stop there, though. When Schiff tried to double down on Trump’s “misconduct,” she hit him directly on his personal credibility.


And that’s the biggest point here. No one who was pushing the Steele Dossier as late as 2019 deserves to be taken seriously. Schiff did so, despite evidence to the contrary, because he felt he could affect a presidential election by doing so. In the end, he likely to did to some extent, and that’s a shame. It smacks of Harry Reid lying about Mitt Romney’s taxes and feeling no remorse over it.

Lastly, for a little comic relief, Schiff managed to mumble something about an “erection.”

 

Now really. Is anyone left who believes the steele dossier was anything but lies?
